Starting with a heartfelt ceremony at St. Mary’s Assumption Church, and later culminating in a candle-lit reception at Il Mercato, no detail was left untouched on the day. A traditional second line parade and cherished details like a family heirloom cake topper made this one truly special.
The weekend began at Galatoire’s on Bourbon Street, a cornerstone of New Orleans dining. Guests gathered around candlelit tables for classic Creole dishes. Beignets were passed later in the evening as the energy shifted from dinner to celebration. Mardi Gras beads were tossed into the street below, a moment that felt natural and unmistakably local.
